CREDIT IN FOREIGN CURRENCY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Exporters need working capital.
  • Importer to meet import obligations.
  • Importer of capital goods.
  • Customers who have previously taken medium-term FC loans for capital expenditure from foreign financial institutions to prepay these loans (subject to RBI guidelines).
  • Loans to Joint Venture / Wholly Owned Subsidiaries of Indian Companies.
  • To meet the working capital requirements required for replacement of WCDL to large corporate clients with the good track record.
  • Customers who want to convert Rupee Term / Cash Credit.

Period

  • Working capital 06 months to 01 Year for the importer/exporter
  • Importers of capital goods - 03 years (in case funds are available)
  • WCDL / Cash Credit Replacement -03 to 06 months
  • In case of conversion of term loan up to -03 years (in case of funds being available)

Quantity / currency

  • Based on each transaction within existing credit facilities
  • Minimum 0.50 million USD. (Equivalent to Rs. 2.00 crore)
  • FC loan in normal USD can also be availed in pound sterling or Euro, if funds are available.
